1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Birta ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Birta is an eye-care and wellness app that provides guided eye exercises, 20-20-20 break reminders, and tools to log and track your vision, symptoms, and prescriptions. Birta is intended for general wellness purposes only.

3. Not Medical Advice

Birta is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The exercises, reminders, and information in the App are for general wellness and informational purposes and are not a substitute for professional care. Always consult a qualified eye-care professional with any questions about your vision or eye health, and stop any exercise that causes pain or discomfort.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Birta offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions ("Birta Premium") that unlock additional features. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. A subscription automatically renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's App Store account settings. Prices are shown in the App and may vary by region.

5. Your Content

All content you create using the App belongs entirely to you. We do not claim any ownership or rights to your content.

6. Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your content and how you use the App, including ensuring your use complies with all applicable laws.

7. No Warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Birta and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App.

9. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

10. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, and branding, is the intellectual property of Birta. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

11. App Store Terms

Your use of the App is also subject to the terms of the platform from which you downloaded it (the Apple App Store).

12. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We reserve the right to discontinue the App at any time without notice.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
